The Carly On Stage Part

http://nscquestions.wik.is/Inquiry_-_for_Science_On_Stage_Participants

All the resources I referenced in my presentation are here. Includes the question framework we used when we did the plant activity.

ACTIVITY to generate student-curiousity based lessons
1 phenomenon (for us, we used a bamboo plant)
pencils/pens
stips of paper or post-it notes
3 signs - IR, IE, N

Sit in groups of 10-15 with phenomena in the middle.
Pose the question: What are you curious about? (in regards to the phenomenon)
Have students generate questions.
Categorize them by Investigate/Research, Investigate/Experiment, and Not.

Build you lesson from there.
You can use evernote (take digital photos of each thing, upload them, and then you can search by key words) to organize these thoughts.
